Alrighty folks. July contest is here and we got a hair over ten entries this month so I just threw them all in together. Sorry Judges, you can vote though!!

We have a prize this month but it's a little bit of a surprise so let's just see where the contest goes this month. You guys know the rules: Post up when you vote, (not that it matters because I check EVERY person that votes that I don't recognize thats not a paid member) No posting up pics, thats what the entry was for. Don't go asking for any votes anywhere inside or outside JeepForum because I will find you Liam Neeson style.
Good Luck to all. If there is a problem, Please PM me!

I got my jeep when I turned 16 for $1,500, bone stock. It was in great shape and I drove it daily for around 7 years through high school and college. I did small mods throughout my college years as I could afford it and since getting a real job I've been able to go wheeling all over the Southeast. I drive it to every park I go to and so far I've been able to drive it back. My ultimate goal is to drive it to Moab, wheel it, and bring it back under its own power.

4.2 L 1990 Jeep Wrangler YJ
I got this YJ in November '08 after it spent 4 years sitting torn apart in a driveway in western PA Amish country. After restoring and building it over the winter it was back on the road by the time I got my license. It was my daily driver all through high school. Now that I'm at the Air Force Academy it spends most of the year in the garage, save the few times my dad takes it out. But the six weeks out of the year I'm home it gets wheeled hard and driven everywhere. The current set up is SOA, 1" shackles, and a 1" body lift, 32" BFG KM1's, 4:10 gears, ax 15, SYE np231. Other major modifications along the way include a Ford 8.8 limited slip, lock right and TJ shafts in the D30, '99 TJ cage with custom rear hoop. Home built items include the front bumper, rear bumper, tire carrier, gas tank skid, and traction bar. All work was done by my father and I.

after a series of serious breakdowns on fordyce trail , i junked the dana 35 put in the 44, oem front axles, then early this spring i did the 4 link and front ARB, this thing is awesome now
i just finished 2 weeks, 1 with my little homie 1 with a couple of buddies wheelin and campin on the rubicon, the only thing to break was the driver seat.. i was very happy with its wheeling/crawlin

Secs and Mods: My dad purchased this jeep used in 1999. When I started driving in 2005, I began driving this since it was a much shorter drive for me to school than it was him to work. Well two years later, after starting and selling a parking lot sweeping company with him and never receiving a dime, I was given the jeep as a graduation gift. I feel very fortunate for this. At this point the jeep was still completely in stock form (4.0, ax15, 28 inch tires, 95,000 miles).
When it became mine the tires were worn out so I purchased the current cooper stt's and the fourwheeldrive hardware 2 inch suspension lift. Over the following 4 years I have regeared from 3.07's to 4.10's, added the winch and winch cover, rear bumper and tire carrier, inverter, new sound system (yes no performance on some of these, but being a daily driver makes life nicer). The jeep has been very reliable besides this. I replaced the alternator just so It wouldn't go out on me in the middle of nowhere, and the water pump for the same reason.
Of course have to thank my dad for help in all of this. he has owned a small repair shop for 30 years so makes things easier as far as install goes.
Here it is. It's not the most jacked up jeep but does get wheeled pretty hard, and also makes a 7 hour round trip every other weekend to visit the gf/soon to be fiance. Its a pretty good mix for me, hope others can appreciate.
Driving around in the hills near where i went to college
Mcgrew Trail near Obrien Oregon
Just a reason I love my jeep
