Jeep Yj Overhaul!! Reposted (moves from fab forum to here)

Here's my story:

I baught my jeep 2 years ago for 4000$ when i was 16 the jeep had 35" tires, 4" suspension lift and 1" body lift, The engine had 40 000km. This summer i decided to do a complete jeep rebuild. I baught another jeep tub and fenders Only issue was the area where the windshield and the body meets was rusted (its now being replaced) por 15'd the whole thing inside and out! did the same with my tail gate. hood and fenders.

I have no budget for this build! im an 18 yr old kid still living at home no debts and no bills. But obviously i wont be buying everything brand new of coarse. I do still want to stay on the inexpensive side of a rebuild.

Here are some pics of my progress:

Started dissasembly:

Started the inside of the jeep, Took dash of and took some pictures of the wiring for future reference

got my helper taking off the fender flares and stuff.

some examples of the amount of rust, And future reference for were those bars go.

took the 2 fenders off and the radiator.

Now that the front end was stripped. I stripped the interior and cut the old rotting tub off. I didnt even have to unscrew the bolt. all i had to do was pry the body off with a pry bar.

i stripped the engine of all its things, electrical, exhaust etc...

and i braught the old jeep frame, diffs, engine and stuff outside to make room for the painting in the garage.

here i cut up the old body into several pieces and threw it in back of an old van to bring to metal recycler.

here i braught in the "new" tub into the cleaned garage

Here i had to cut the the metal were the windsheild frame and tub meet

And i will be replacing it with the old one from the old body (its in very nice shape)
