Jeep YJ Bad idle need suggestions

I have a 1991/1992. It a Frankenstien jeep. anyway a few days ago it decided it did not want to run right. it idled real rough almost sounding like a built V8 in stead of 2.5L 4 cly and also drove much in the same matter. i just did new plugs cap/rotor and wires. still runs rougher then all hell. When I unplugged the throttle position sensor it smoothly idled up then when right back to the same routine. when plugged back in, there is no change. So i am wondering if the Throttle sensor can cause this and if not than what? also my Fuel pump is now audible which it never before this happened. PLEASE HELP! thanks!

Get the error codes from the computer first. Its easy and free, using the ignition key. Here's a video that shows how.

BTW welcome to JF, you've just found one of the best jeep sites anywhere!
