Yea, I've noticed that too... I have been without my jeep for 2 MONTHS!! I had to get a new engine and I just convinced my insurance company to pay for it. And on a side note.... is anyone else getting terribly tired of TJ's NOT WAIVING!?!? Every CJ waives back.. most YJ's waive back.. But these damn teenie boppers running around in their white/yellow TJ's (ALWAYS AUTOMATICS!!!) driving around unmodified or EVEN MODIFIED (you know its never going offroad, unless they dont find a spot in the mall parking lot) NEVER WAIVING!! THEY NEVER WAIVE!! old people too.. they dont waive either and anyways.. I just hate TJ's (let the bashing begin)

Hey just cause your Jeep isn't modified doesn't mean you don't understand. Mine is bone stock, and I truley understand the jeep thing. Some of us just don't have the cash to spend right now on that kind of stuff. I put my Jeep to the test every possible chance I get...stock or not. Doesn't have to be big to be good boys...as I tell the wife all the time, It's not the size of the boat...it's the motion of the ocean.

The TJ wave thing, not even touching that one. Gave my opinion (same as yours ) on a previous post...just starts a big fight.

90 YJ...Stock for now.

I get no waves from TJ's. YJ's, I do all the time.

I've felt the hate rise up in me, kneel down and clear the stone of leaves, I wander over where you can't see, inside my shell, I wait and bleed... Goodbye!

hey hey hey... there are always exceptions.

I'm a former YJ owner turned TJ owner and I wave
but I guess that could be because this is my second, but I do get other TJ's waving at me.

maybe first time jeep owners that drive TJ's think its a "JEEP TJ THING" maybe someone needs to tell him it doesnt go by model.... and if so.. wonder if they get confused and wave at CJ's?

I've noticed that location has a lot to do with the waves I get too . . . Out in the country everyone waves - but in the cities and highways it drops considerably . . .

Also around colleges hardly anyone waves because there are soo many Jeeps and so many are trying to be cool. That waving is uncool. HELL I don't care, I'll keep on waving until I die!

I've noticed that same thing about college students in the Provo/Orem Utah area. There are about 60,000 students and just slightly fewer jeeps. Only a few wave. Maybe its just not cool to wave to an old geezer <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />
