Jeep summer top questions

I'm looking to get a set of tops for summer only. I figure it will be sunny most of the time and I can't justify spending 700 dollars on a new top just because i need one for summer. I was looking at the bestop summer combo stuff but I don't have the supertop hardware. I would also like a full bikini top for both front and back passengers as I usually cruise around with more than 1 other person and if I get caught in a rain storm I wouldn't want them to get too wet. Is there any like rear cargo cover, wind jammer type thing and a full bikini top package that would fit together nicely, or would I have to peice this together myself?

I believe I saw a full length bikini top package that included the windbreaker and such on quadratec but not 100% possitive. Have you checked out quadratecs site?

I've been looking at JC whitney, but i'll check out quadratec!

Edit: I can't find one on quadratec, I find the duster windjammer bikini combo but the bikini isn't a safari bikini or whatever!

Keep an eye on ebay and craislist. I found a great deal on a real nice Bestop Supertop with hardware and full soft doors (uppers and lowers) on craigslist. Also found a great deal on a bikini top on ebay.

I might just buy the combo and a separate full length bikini top. Has anyone used the bestop combo thing? I'd like to know how well it sealed everything up and whether it'd be good to use all summer instead of the normal soft top.

Ok, i've checked them all and I have yet to find one with a full bikini top...which kind of suprises me. I'd still like to know how well these things fit together though!

Why knot just use a full top? When it's nice out, zip all the winows out, and pull off the upper doors. When it looks like rain, put it all back on. Sounds to me like what your looking for.

Full top doesn't like to cooperate with me (zippers break) I would like something that could be put on or taken off in a hurry if weather turned bad and quite frankly I like the looks of the half tops better as well. I would probably get a full top if I had the money but I can't really justify 6-700 dollars on a decent top!

It does. Camp Jeep 2005 I took the hardtop off, had no soft top, and literally drove home with a red tarp taped to the windshield, roped to the bumperettes and held by my hand in the back seat. Not comfortable, but effective.

I would have loved to have seen that contraption. It seems like it would be easier to just use the soft top the whole time than rig that thing up!

I only have a hard top, and with the good weather coming fast I really want to be able to go topless. So I need a top that is easy to put back on and off. I really like the looks of half top, and I wonder if it is possible to fold it down or can we only remove it?

I'm also interesded in the bestop Bikini, Windjammer and Duster combo but I want to know if it's possible to easily and quickly remove the duster to carry passengers.

Thanks.
