My apologies for the miscommunication on MY part.

No worries, felt singled out, when I was just having some fun with Poke

Heh I got stuck like the OP this past winter. I was wheeling alone too, except for my brother in law who was in the passenger seat. 'course there was a foot or so of snow in a field that had a lot of stringy vegetation.. went to go get recovery gear (shovels, chainsaw, 2x12 scaffold planks) No other issue Except the land owners noticed my jeep and called the popo. Similar situation.. surrounded by biiig expensive houses. Fortunately, They didn't want to press charges they just didn't know who's it was xD. ended up hacking the branches away and cutting a hole through the tree line down a ways to get back to the road. everyone has a dumb*** moment lol

Thomas, sounds very similar to mine. The police just seem to make it more annoying. Some photographer was out there taking pictures of my Jeep.

I don't think you were clear, so I'll ask:

Did you have permission to be where you were?

I got stuck the first week I got my jeep. I was going on a steep grass section between a bean field and woods. The woods being at the bottom, I slid sideways into thick brush. Stuck until 2 days later. It had been raining for 4 strait days before I got stuck. Lesson learned!!!!
And about the tj, YJ thing... How come tj guys put leafs on the back to gain stability and wheel base? Why do barby dolls drive tjs? Why do most of you have low pinion d30s? What's with all that interior crap that leaves no leg room?
The only thing I like about the tj is bigger wheel wells. Other than that I'm not impressed.
Sorry I just get tired of the YJ bashing. All you can say is square headlights blah blah blah. Suck it!!
