jeep pics before and after rough country 2 1/2" lift and 1" boom shackles

Before I was running 1 1/4" strait shackles. Now I am running 1" boom shackles and a rough country 2 1/2" suspension lift. I also run 31/10.50/15" BF Goodrich ATs ko

Nice work. Looks good. Plus, I've always liked black doors on red Jeeps (I'm serious, not being sarcastic).

When its time for new tires, you'll need to step up to a 32" or 33"

I do agree with getting larger tires when it comes time for new ones.

Are those flares home made?

Thanks. Too bad I just bought the new tires a few months ago. They will have to be good enough til I wear em out. That may take forever cuz I fix it more than I drive it. And yes the flares are homemade. Belive it or not, I made them with conduit and sheet metal. They are on there solid as a rock. I can damm near jack the jeep up with them. I also painted them with spray on bedliner.

No problems with the install, but went thru $45 worth of sawzall blades cutting the bolts to get the old spring bolts out. With running the 1" shackles and the lift, I had to do the tcase drop cuz I had vibes without it.

Angle grinder with a cutoff wheel worked A LOT better than a sawzall when I was hacking off my old springs...
