Jeep Mountaineer...

i have a 91 YJ that came from the factory (which i believe to be in california) with decals that say mountaineer. it is a flat metallic grey, weird i know, and a dark grey soft top. the interior is also all grey, so the whole thing is grey. ever heard of it or know the specs on it?

I've never heard of a Mountaineer version of the YJ.

Looks like it might be either added aftermarket, or more likely, it was a dealer package added at the dealership...Know where it came from?

I was thinking the same thing (dealer package) It looks kinds neat.

We have a Mareitta Jeep here in GA that adds a "Big foot" package that isnt avail at all dealers which makes them kind of unique (They also add $1500 for the true coat paint!)

this one came from a dealer in huntington beach, ca, but i have never seen another wrangler this color. i could see how the dealer would add decals, but what about the paint?
