Jeep lives...then dies, over and over again.
so here's the deal. I keep blowing my ignition fuse under the hood and don't know why. I go to start my jeep and all i see is the "Brake" light and nothing happens. I have tried everything, its the fuse. I replace the ignition fuse and it works fine for about a week or so and then dies. I have had the # on the fuse verified through books and everything so i know i'm getting the right one. I don't know what to do and it's getting pretty embarrassing when I go to give somebody a ride and can't even start the heep. It's a 94, 4 banger. I had the alternator tested and works fine, starter is fine. WHY IS MY FUSE DYING?!!!!
Cause ya got a short?
you might have to chase the wires, especially around the firewall, to see if the insulation has been worn away
