jeep 4.2 to 4.0 swap no power

So im swapping in a cherokee 4.0 into my 90 YJ that had the 4.2. im doing the wiring process now, i got the bulkhead all wired up i do beleieve, keeping only the wires needed to run to keep it simple for now. My issue is i get no power when i turn my key on. no lights on the dash or anything, however if i turn on my blinkers they work on the dash. My buddy brought out a power probe and we went through and found one plug that when power is shot to, the starter kicks on, but i cant find where it plugs into. Its a black plug with like 6 flat blade terminals in it and it comes out of the main harness. Also, i dont have the computer type thing that sits under the dash on the pass side. I forgot to pull it out of my donor cherokee before i sold it. Ive been doing some reasearch and think its a TCM (transmission control unit). the cherokee had an Auto and i put my old Manual ax-15 in so i no longer have the automatic...
Any insight or help would be great, i appreciate it

Does anyone know what these plugs hook to on a 93 4.0. The black one has a wire that when we shoot power to it, my starter cranks.
