internal to external clutch slave.

It was not on my extensive list of upgrades to my 92 Rene, but since my inner slave is leaking and I've read on here the replacements are junk (even more junk than original) I'm considering changing over to the external slave.
I have the parts list to do this, what I'm looking for is real world comments from those who have done it. How is it working out? Any unforeseen problems? Any helpful hints?
Thanks!

Over 3 years and no issues! Don't forget to put grease on any moving parts.

Did mine last year no issues works great. It is an 8o 2.5 L and the only issue I had was at the clutch peddle connection a little fabrication required nothing cosmic.
