It's not a tough fix - couple of screws hold the panel in, then take the window crank off. If it works from the outside but not the inside, you probably broke the little plastic thingy that connects the inside door handle to the hardware. A Chilton's manual has pretty good pictures. I used a zip-tie to fix mine, but the dealer part is only like $3.00.
1) Pop the door panels off, careful not to pull clips out of panel
2) Peel back watershield from around latch cover
3) Remove 5 or 6,i can't remember, philips screws from latch cover
4) The latch release is on the bottom, take a pair of needle nose pliers and squeeze retaining clip slightly, push release rod back into clip(you should be able to tell where it was before)
5) Test before you put back together
