inline fuel pump or new tank with pump in it?

Im putting a 4.0 in my 87 yj and was wondering if i should go with the inline fuel pump, or just get a gas tank out of a newer yj.

Intank is better in the long run, but you also have to dork with the sending unit to get the gas gauge to work right.

Inline is easier. Just remember, they're designed to push, not pull. Get it as close to the tank as possible. leave old one in and keep it wired.
