It's not a Wrangler...

If it has round headlights...

All about that unibody life.

Dare to be different - cut the grill down short and use it for the tailgate instead! reverse lights built in!

I don't feel like working on anything, at this time.

I never liked the square headlights when I was young. Now my ocd has kicked in and round lights don't look right on a square vehicle with a square windshield. I say just buy a second jeep

If I had the parts sitting around I'd likely do it.

It's not that much work. A 1" body lift makes it a snap with just a little mild trimming to the bottom of the new (old) CJ grill and you need to rework the mounting point for the grill as well. It took me all of half an hour to fab up relocation brackets for the radiator. I've spent much more time building my tube fenders than I have on the hood and grill.

To the OP:
If you like the look of a CJ better, do it. It's not difficult. I thought long and hard before I did mine and I'm very happy with it. In my opinion you end up with the best of both worlds. You end up with a frame that is superior to a CJ, with better suspension and fuel injection of a YJ with the appearance of a CJ. I will warn you though, it will lead to you looking at CJ dashes before very long. I'm there now...

I say do what will make YOU happy. It's all part of owning a jeep and making it yours. Haters gonna hate.

I say you lower the jeep and put 20" rims and low profile tires! Now that would be different...

93YJ / 4'' lift / 33'' mtzs / aussie locker in hpd30 / pos d35 in rear(for now) / xrc rock sliders & rear xrc tube fenders tj style/ AJ's offroad rear bumper and tire carrier / LP10000 Superwinch / SQUARE HEADLIGHTS

No farms no food
