I'm finally a Jeep owner!

And here I am.

Just introducing myself to the board, nice to meet everybody. I'm really excited, I've been wanting a Jeep for months and I just got it on Sunday. 2002 Wrangler X, Patriot Blue w/ black soft top.

I live in Orlando, Fl and I'm anxious to find a rookie place to take it off road. There's a spot nearby that I was thinking of going, a friend of mine got stuck there in his truck and we had to dig him out. I'm still afraid I'd get stuck too, don't really know the limits of what I can do yet. It's a 30 degree angle hill covered in sugar sand that's more than a foot deep. He went down the hill and got stuck at the bottom. I have a feeling I could do it, but I don't want to take a chance and get stuck my first time out.

Anyway, good to be here. I get a huge smile across my face every time I park it and look back at it as I'm walking away thinking "that's mine".

I got stuck my first time out, but you need to know that that is the fun of going out 4bying. My suggestion to you is take a shovel and a tow rope with you and have fun.

Ahh .. that's alright .. its a SWB unit .. similar enough to our rigs

Most of us in the YJ section can help you with general questions .. but for specific ones, check the TJ section .. they also know their stuff!
