Front / rear????? If it is the rear, I would suspect the combo of 4" lift and turning 35's. SYE and CV driveshaft would help this.

Whoever or wherever you heard that from is totally misinformed and needs to drink a gallon of bleach to clear their mind.
Yes, the inner portions of the ujoint caps are bronze. They are rebuildable, or you can replace the caps if there was a need to.
Proper maintenance of the CTM's will help prolong their life, as with almost any high stress component. I lube mine regularly & have had zero problems with them & never expect to.
This is a CTM cap to the upper left;

Is there some type of kit that holds the U joints on with u bolts? My friend has one and he said it's a Rustys HD something or other and I can't find it.

Which ujoints are you breaking? And yes, you can get ubolt straps for axle side of the driveshaft. (I need them too, my stock straps are stretched and are being held tight with shims.

My 35's with the 4.11 gearing do pretty good but I'm definitely not going cross country in it. I only have the 2.5 liter so I went 65-70 top speed anyways..now it's about 60. I can comfortably go 50 mph.
