Ignition Switch

I have a 1990 YJ, i just bought it and am finding more things that need fixing everyday. but anyways my ignition switch comes right out of the steering console, it can slide like in an out. I dont know if i have to get a new ignition switch or if its something inside the steering console, any help would be pretty cool

Welcome to the world of Jeep ownership!

There is a pin on the cylinder that keeps it in place, proly broken.

I don't know what years had it, but I think the early YJ's had the ignition switch held in with a screw rather than a spring clip [pin].
