I'll call you when I get back home to the Jeep. Took the wifes car to work today so I could drop it off at the shop for an alignment.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to call you Que. I did get my ECM in though, and it seems that for now all the weird issues I have been having have cleared up. I even have a cel illumination! Code 15 is No vehicle speed signal. Speedo hasn't worked in over a year, new sensor and still not working. Now I can actually get down to that.

The parts guy at the dealership looked through the vents in my old ecm and said "When did it get all cracked inside?" I replied that it had looked that way since I got it. "You got screwed." Ouch. From now on I think I will stick to new or dealer parts for my electronics. That just hurt.

Also worth noting that the old ecm never popped a code for the speed sensor. Now I know that it might either be an alignment issue or I got the wiring screwed up when I replaced the sensor. Now that it's sunny out, back under the Jeep I go.

just an easy check. remove the adapted from the transfer case turn the key to on and spin the gear with a drill. if the speedo works its an alignment problem. if it doesnt its a wiring problem
