If you havent replaced your stock seats yet.....DO IT!

Hey guys, just a little feedback on my recent seat replacement. Like me there are a lot of guys and girls on the forum that are fairly new to the Jeep world. When folks start a thread..."new to me Jeep" and ask what to do first, my answer will be LOSE THE STOCK SEAT! I was lucky enough to find a best top trailmax seat at a pick and pull for 25 bucks. Today I finished some other things I wanted to tidy up and put my seat in. All I wanted to do was drive. What a difference! Much more sturdy and comfortable that the original seat. The warm weather is coming and we are all going to want to drive more, replace that dang seat.

Maybe the po of your Jeep was a fatty and tore up your seats. My stockers are just fine.

love my stock seats. I swapped them out for some bestop seats and took them out a couple days later, they sucked horribly. I plan to find another stocker to replace my ripped driver seat

I'm sure no matter how cheap they are I could sell them for $25 a piece at swap meets.

I just took a side by side comparison on cushioning alone, maybe mine had a lot of seat time. I should maybe add that I drive in traffic a lot and 75% of the time on the road? Maybe my stock seats are just that worn. Here is replacement drivers side.

Now stock passenger.

The seat cushioning is much denser on the new seat and the sides ate sturdier. Now don't get me wrong I LOVE the look of my stock seats but comfort wise I'm guessing they have seen better days.

oh man, you have the newer seats. i forgot you have a 95. thats why your seats are so much thinner then mine. i have the old yj/cj seats in mine and they aer thick. they don;t recline though. my wife's 93 sahara had the seats you have and they were not as comfy as the ones in my 87
