I need a riser plate

I have the 258 with a Weber 38/38 and I've been spending weeks trying to find a manifold spacer plate. I want to get a spacer to raise my carburetor up 2" so that I get a better tornado intake, but I'm having a really hard time finding a place that sells spacers for mine. Anybody know where I can get one at?

The largest I have seen are an inch thick. Do not remember where. Have you tried summit racing?

For those who have not figured this out I'm old school but can handle the new too.

Send me a piece of phenolic and I will machine one for you. You can find phenolic on ebay or local plastic supply houses. I have pics in my gallery of how to make a 99 n up intake manifold to Motorcraft carb adaptor.
Just include a Weber base gasket so I have a pattern to go by you will get better velocity if the 2 bbls are separated so a gasket with a divider is best.

If you have a picture of one that you did it is not easy to find in your gallery.

The pics of the orangeish material is the adaptor, there are quite a few pics of the build.
I don't know how to post them from my gallery to this thread.
