[QUOTE=Mr.B]Just some Webshots advice. If you select size 600 before you copy the link to the picture, your pics will look like this.
Thanks! ![]()

Those are some serious meats. You must have separate tires that you use for street driving, yes? Wouldn't want to wear those things out
Nice work, by the way. And I want my harbor freight floor jack back.

3/8 bolts with a long shank, cut off the head and ground it to a rounded shape. Nut on the inside and the outside. Sticks past the inside nut maybe about 1/2 inch. After I cut off the head I put the bolt in a drill and used that while grinding the end to rounded. Sort of like this one; Funny, this mod is nothing compared to some of the others posted but it is so simple I am easy that I'm glad others can take advantage of it. I bought a bunch of steel a few weeks ago to build bumpers and rocker guards but have been spending time on the quick and easy stuff first. Plus, it's too dang hot to be welding right now anyway. YA its been 95 in SFL and wayt o hot to weld. Have not completed my console yet so this idea I can still incorporate. Never thought of making it removeable. Guess thats not a a bad isea. Ill just have to put quick disconnects on my cb and my radio I am still trying to find away to make a cup holder on the thing too. I have a few ideas but still playing with it. I forgot to mention i use a combination lock so when you go to the beach and dont want to lose your keys etc you dont need to take them with you. I have several locks with the same combo so I will put the side boxes on too. Not so sure I am going to make the removeable on my rig. ![]()

I got a plastic cup holder at pep boys yesterday. I just have to weld on a couple of tabs to screw it to. Some day I will get around to putting in the fender mounted boxes too. Someone else had suggested having those do double duty as speaker mounts; which I might do. In that case I would add a couple of radio shack headphone plugs for ez removal and probably add a bunch of extra wire. That way you could dismount the boxes to carry your tools away, OR extend the speakers into your campsite. |

Where are you going to weld the tabes on the front or back? No room on the sides. Have to look into the side boxes as speaker boxes as I have weather proof speakers I am using so not sure how going to work that.
