Thanks, didn't like the bumper at first. It's starting to grow on me.

I like the lift mucho ... but this is a Black Diamond lift back when Warn was making it, so there are some differences I believe?
As far as ride quality, its a Jeep, but I consider it to ride well, and I'm more the Musclecar/Sportscar type, so it depends what your definition of "good" is? I did "rebuild" my leaf packs by tearing them down, sanding the rust, and lubing the friction surfaces with marine grade grease to allow the leafs to do their thing with minimal friction, seems to help the ride of a YJ some, and fights rust.
I tow 2-3K lbs from time to time, and the springs are stiff enough to handle the load without much sag. I ditched the track bars and it does very well offroad, but there are more flexible lifts available (softer, cheap springs), but it flexes well and the springs are stiff enough to keep wheel hop to a minimum. What I really need though are M.O.R.E. greaseable boomerangs to get the full meal deal. Coming soon ... (Update: I got some, will post pics later.) The lift has 5-leafs in the rear with pinion angle shims, 4-leafs up front. The lift came with the transfer drop kit to lower the skidplate an inch or so, and it does not require a SYE or driveshaft, although I do plan on that in the future to increase belly clearance and yada yada yada (Update: I got that too, will have to post pics.) Do keep in mind my Jeep is a '93 so it has the smaller U-Joint due to smaller/shorter D35 pinion yoke. The driveshaft does not slide as far onto the transfer case output shaft as it would on a '94 or '95 YJ. I haven't had any problems and no real course vibrations, but a SYE is always better than this shorter factory driveshaft.
This is a great affordable lift and I'm 100% satisfied with it, but keep in mind this is the version that was being made by Warn, so there are probably some differences to what you get from the parent company Superlift today?

Great looking jeep man!
You've had to get a paint job to keep it that clean. Right?

OK, So I just finished the 2.5 Rough Country YJ Suspension Lift. Nice... With the 1 3/4" shackles, I am up around 4". SO the fun now begins...
I have decided to add the transfer case lowering kit, and will install a new slip yoke eliminator I just purchased this weekend. I will be using a Tom Woods custom CV joint shaft to cut down on vibrations, and add some streigth.
Anyway, I wanted to post a before and after photo as to where we are right now...

if your getting the slip yoke and cv driveshaft you won't need the transfer case lowering kit just to let you know. and also most people who put the 4" RC lift kit are ok with just the transfer case lowering kit. why not just buy the tc lowering kit and see if it improves? If it doesn't then spend the big bucks for the sye/cv. just my 2 cents trying to help
