For what it's worth, I have 31's on a 1.5 inch lift and they clear fine...I would think with one more inch of clearance I could run 33's...you might get a little rub under heavy flex, but I can't say for sure.

With mine in that config, I never got it off road, but it would have destroyed the fenders. If you keep it on road and run a swaybar, you will be A-OK. I dented my fenders with a 2.5" lift and a 2" BL.

You must have JUST put that on...that's about how tall my standard RE 2.5 kit was when I first got it. After about a year of hard offroad use, it has settled down to a true 2.5" and rides AWESOME!!!

Yea, its been on for about a month. I thought it looked higher than 2.5". I think it may be close to 3" though. I love it and am completely satisfied with it
. Even right now it has an amazingly softer ride than the old suspension!

Got a chance to clean her up and post a pic.....
2.5" OME, 2" BL, 33x12.5's General MT's on 15x8 MT Challengers.... few more since I am finally set up out here in Cali.....

My jeep has only ever killed 3 things, a cat, a deer, and my wallet. What's the problem officer? 1992 Red YJ. Lifted, locked, and loaded with beer (Disclaimer: This doesn't mean said driver endorses drinking and driving, please enjoy alcohol responsibly and do not operate any vehicle of any kind, thank you....) Thanks to the price of gas here ($4.25 a gal) I just bought a mountain bike, 0" of lift, 0" of travel, MT's, locked rear axle, oh yeah, it's the sh#$. |
