Thats a relative question. You could probably "fit" 35" tires, but you wouldn't be able to flex much without rubbing.

Now, if you got 6" springs, 5/8" booms, did some TJ flares.... well 35's would probably still rub a tad.

I was the one concerned about putting the bigger tires on my jeep and the hubby wanted to.....
Just an update. Picked it up yesterday with the 32s on new DC2 rims with 3.75(?) backspacing....have to admit, it handles soooo much better. I didn't go but an inch bigger on the tires, but I think it's the width that makes it seem smoother. And it just looks so damned good!!!
