I suggest getting a smaller lift, like 1.5 or 2.5" springs. That will in fact lower your center of gravity, and be safer. Not to mention look more proportionate with your 31's. Keep the 4" springs in the garage in case you ever move up in tire size.
Unfortunately it's too late. I already have the 4" lift on there and it really does look great. I love it and wouldn't trade my jeep for anything. Absolutely everything underneath this jeep is brand new. He really did a great job with it.
I'll have to post pictures one day soon. Happy New Year, all!

I have a question...

Ok, let me start off with saying I am 16 and just bought my 1st jeep. No one i have been related to has ever owned a Jeep and my father and I are slowing learning the Jeep things....I know i want to put a lift on my jeep, maybe a 3 or 4 inch lift and I cant afford new tires at this point (high school budget ) and I was wondering if anyone had first hand experience or even pictures of their baby with a 3-4 inch lift with 30-32 inch tires. Thanks for any help!!!

4playin,
I think that looks great. That's what mine has on it now, but the husband said I "needed" bigger tires. I didn't want bigger ones because of the increased weight. I feel like I need to be pushed uphill now, so I went to 32" tires and new rims with a wider offset. As soon as my Jeep is done with this work, which will be around the end of this month, I will post pics.
Nice Jeep.
