Here's how it was a few months ago right after I painted it black the first time, on 235/75r15 Wrangler RT/Ss and half doors/soft top:

Here it is now, FS Destination MT 31", highlined fenders and trimmed wells with extended TJ flares, hard top and full doors:

Tires are 2" larger but look how much extra room there is. My suspension is stock height (not entirely stock parts though) and I can fit up to 35"s I think. I'd need a new rear axle, and all that other jazz for 35"s, but I don't need lift to make it work!

I think it looks a world of difference between the green and unpainted flares I posted a couple days ago. I think this is going to be much more palatable to the nay sayers!!!
MOAR PICTURES!!

Goin back to black was the best thing I could have done for it.

Now I just have to get some 33"s or 35"s and fill those new, massive wells with a tire that matches them.

My 88

1988 YJ Laredo with 3.5 inch Heavy Duty Superlift and 33x10x15 BFG Muds
(I plan on 1" daystar body lift, but for this pic my body bushings are about flat and wore out...with new bushings would probably sit 1/2 inch higher)

I found a set of 35's on 17" wheels, does anyone have some pics of this setup on a YJ?

First picture stock height/ shackles/suspension. 30x9.5 tires, stock flares.
Second picture 2.5 H.D. EMU suspension lift. 5/8ths boomerang shackles on all four corners. 30x9.5 tires, stock flares.
No body lift before or after.

Did you stretch the wheelbase via the frame extension method? The pics aren't that clear. Like the rig lots. My yj's future life will look similar to yours
