How would 33's or 35's look w/ 18" wheels on 4" of lift...

Was looking into getting either the 33" or 35" Nitto Mud Grapplers on an 18" XD Series Diesel wheel, need some photos/ input I have a 94" Wrangler 4.0L and I also plan on swapping in the 8.8/ 4.10 axle. Thanks in advance guys.

Shackle angle looks alittle steep, I bet it rides like a school bus. Try loosening them up (safely, the torq specs are somewhere on here) and lube'em up. If you loosen them all up it might level out your rig. Might. Also those shackles look huge, Im a big fan of the Boomerang shackles my self. Your leave sag could be a result of the big shackles.

You would probley want a spring UNDER set up. 4" SOA would be upwards of a foot of lift.

If you are rubbing with the 4.5" kit, add TJ flare and cut the fenders. The 1/2 shackle would also help alittle bit as well. And as alway the much fear last resort of the 1" body lift.

Thy the tj flares or even tube fenders front and rear, keep that center of gravity down as much as you can.

Once again 4" spring over would be the high light at Monster Jam.

It rides like a bus. Yes.

They are 6" center to center, so that's 1" lift, right? I'd like to swap them out for 1/2 inch lift, I can afford to loose 1/2 inch height.

I've loosened them up already, it improved. I later realized that I only loosed and greased the shackles, not the spring bushings on the frame.

Will a shorter shackle improve ride from what you can see?

As far as shackles, and this is me, go with a greasible boomerang shackle with zerks. Get your self a good grease gun as well. 6" shackle eye to eye I believe is 1" of lift, I think stock it 4" eye to eye. I have 1" lift booms on my heep.

As far as ride quality goes, loose the sway bars and track bars if you havent already done so. I will ride alot better. Make sure your tire pressures are right and ride quaility will get better as well.

EDIT:

I went back and looked at your pictures, I see the sway bar is toast. Good. Attack the tack bar next.

LUBE,LUBE,LUBE....TORQ, TORQ, TORQ!
