ridin' high

So she's lifted! It took 3 days, a lot of help (shouts out to Shawn, Vinnie, Sammy, BK, Hartley, Dylan, everybody!), lots of new implements of destruction from Harbor Freight, trips to Lowes and Napa etcetera.

So Mabel the Jeep before:

And after installing a 4 inch Rough Country lift:

The gallery of the project:

New skills acquired: Grinding and replacing brake lines for sure.

Hey,
The only reason I thought they were upside down was I saw a post where someone else had put them upside down also...............Getting ready to do a lift so that'll help me out

I guess it doesn't matter, but maybe it's better to have the metal part closer to the ground than the rubber boot. Might be a little more durable. I'll probably flip 'em next time I check the torque on the suspension bolts.

Good catch, thanks

You have to host pictures on a website before they can be posted here.

If you don't already have an account go register at Photobucket.com. They allow you to host images from your computer on their site. After you've uploaded a few pictures, just click on the pic you want to share with us and there will be several tags on the left hand side. Just copy the one on the bottom that says [IMG] and paste it here and your pic should show up!

Here's my 94 Sahara.

I've got 3.5 Superlift springs, Skyjacker nitrogen shocks, 1.25 over on the shackels, 33x12.5 Cepek FCII, and a Rampage swingaway in the back that I still need to install the lights on.

I'm a desert dweller too. Just a different part of the world. The color helps keep it looking clean...hides all the dirt.
