No he gave his thoughts on ProvenT33 build thread, that seems reasonable. Altho his comments were negitive he had a point. But once the band wagon got stared he was got ban.
Sucks because everyone that was bashing him wanted to see his rig and bashing him for the Yota axles. Id say he got the last laugh.

All i know is that i saw his comments and maybe banning was a bit to harsh, but his comments were not necessary at all. They were very disrespectful and immature.
But anyway lets see some more pics of rigs

Not really, He stated his opinion on the kids jeep. Every one is intitled to their opinion. Just becasue it wasnt praise and laying saying it is awsome build.
But you guys on here cant face hash comments, so you simply ban them. I would of really like to have known how he ran Yota axles in his rig, now Ill never know.

To run toy axles he probably did the same thing we all do to run other mfg. axles. Check pumpkin side, gearing, grind the perches, weld new.

Is that what was happening in ProvinT13s build thread for the last two pages?
I was wondering what all the deleted posts and "Troll!!!!!!" stuff was about. I only saw one quoted post he made, and it wasn't all that bad... as far as internet posts go these days.
But hey, I like ProvinT13s Jeep. For a kid with little cash he's putting it together the way he likes it. Not many kids around here (where I live) know how to change their oil, let alone do a Jeep build, and enjoy it!
And I'm like you, curious to know what all was involved in the Yota axle swap... but I'm wondering more of the "why" than the "how", since there are so many other easier axles to shoehorn under there.

Well since this is a swap I've been interested in I'll let you know my feelings. First I think he had mini truck axles, I want to swap in 60 series Land Cruiser axles for a few reasons. They have removable 3rd members, in stock form they are comparative to a D60 in strength, the axle diameters are the same as some D60s, but put in some Longfields up front and Poly Performance axles in the rear makes them pretty darn indestructable, even for a 4500+lbs Land Cruiser running 39+in tires and a small block Chevy. So for a light Jeep that would result in a wicked strong set up that would be pretty unlikely to break. The front is also a closed knuckle, using whats called a Birfield joint, as opposed to the open style of the D30, D44, D60 etc. Though I think you can buy a kit to convert a D60 into a closed knuckle. Lastly, its so unique. Everyone and their brother either have or plan to put an 8.8in the back (which I plan to do now, since its easier and cheaper ) but how many people can say they have Toyota axles under theirs? Some people make a big deal because Toyota is a rival of Jeep in the off road world. But theyre just parts, and we're all out there for the same reason, to have fun and keep the trails open!

yeah he probably has axles from a tacoma sized truck, which is fine because they are beefy, stock are about as strong or stronger than a d44, and also have 3rd members and are easily strong enough to handle a jeep on 35's, i looked at his other posts and he also has a toyota transmission and tcase, which makes alot of sense because the toyota t-case can be regeared easier and cheaper than the np231 and to a higher numerical number, plus you can run dual cases with toyotas because they basically can just be bolted together and they already have fixed yoke's so no SYE to worry about
