Other than that, excellent write-up! Very cool. Thanks again for sharing.

Bad editing on my part. I will correct that right now!

Pretty awesome write up!!!! I will be discoing mine this week and if I find that my ride is greatly affected, I will opt for the manual version you mention.

Thanks for the great info.

Actually I bought one and burned up the motor trying to figure out how to make it work in my YJ. So I made that one manual and bought another to make electric. I will probably sell the manual one.

Finally, the write-up. Thanks...

I'm still waiting for my dealer to tell me mine's in. $71 after tax. Time to order some new bushings.

awesome write up . I'm just curious, how hard would it be to convert my TJ over to this? It seems to me I would just have to relocate my sway bar underneath right, or is there more to it than just that?

JeepMKcomin is trying to do the same thing. I took some measurements for him. Maybe he will post up here and tell you what he found out.

Great question and one I'm sure all TJ owners are thinking right now... I know I am!

Excellent write-up and cudos on the ingenuity on even conceiving this as being possible!

Paul,

Not to rain on your parade as I think this is an outstanding mod. But the Jeep website states that the electric swaybar allows 28% more droop/stuff than stock.

http://www.jeep.com/en/wranglers/capability.html?feature=engine

How does that compare to your numbers prior to this mod (using a calibrated eyeball of course)?

I just ordered one from Lenihan Jeep in Marlton, NJ. There is now 8 available.

$67.70 +shipping. I'll have it in 3 days. The parts clerk was amazed it was only 70 bucks!

It's nice because the solid bar setup is around $170. Every parts guy I talked to was surprised at the price.
