How much are sway bar end links extended- 4" lift

I have a 4" suspension lift and I'm going to put a sway bar on and will be making extended end links. How long should they be? Is it as simple as making them 4" longer than stock? Seems like that should work, but maybe there's something involved that makes it more complex than what seems odvious?
Thanks!

I'd just cut the stock ones and sleeve them with tube... then drill holes for tractor pins and you have a set of disconnects.... The goal is to have the sway bar about parallel to the ground when the suspension is in its neutral position...
