How much should I sell my Jeep for?
I moving, and I need to sell my Jeep, but I'm not sure for how much though. Here are the specs:
92, Red, spice soft top and safari top, Chevy 350, chevy auto trans., not sure the name but some heavy duty t-case, b&m rachet shifter, brand new best top seats, brand new center console, the inside is herculined. dana 30 up front and dana 35 rear with 4.11s, custom heavy duty front bumper with a warn 8000 lb winch, smitty built rear bumper, extended fender flares, 15x8 eagle alloy wheels, and brand new 33x12.5 Firestone destination MT's. Some other things but I can't remember at the moment. Speedometer and tachometer don't work , my guess is b/c of engine swap. I really don't want to sell but I have to, and I need your help on finding out what to charge for it. The story behind it is some rich guy bought it and did all this stuff to it, except for the new seats, tires and center console, then never drove it and sold it, then this guy bought it for his daughter who drove it once, and it scared here b/c of size and rough ride. Then I bought it, I could tell it had been sitting for a few months too. Not sure of the story before the rich guy bought it.

Corpus Christi, Tx. I really don't want to sell it, but I don't want to drive it from south texas to san fransico, then 3 months later, across the country again. I will probably buy another Jeep, once I get to my final station, but I don't feel like going through the hasle of moving my stuff and my Jeep around. I know I'll regret it too. I will miss that thing the second someone else drives off in it.

Just don't sell it. I'd rather spend 2 days driving mine across the country nonstop than sell it. If you ever want a Jeep again, I'm sure it'll take a lot more hassle to find/buy/build one than the few days you'll spend driving it across the country.

Thats true, but I'm gonna save up my money after I sell it. I won't have a car payment or an insurance payment for 4-5 months. So once I get ready to buy again I will upgrade and maybe get a black TJ sahara edition, which is what I wanted in the first place. Plus, I don't use this Jeep to its abilities, I've took it mudding a couple of times, but thats it. This Jeep needs to go to a good home, one that will use it like it was made to be used.

one thing about that jeep, the axles are in severe need of upgrading. If that thing had been on the road for more than a week, and you jumped on the gas pretty hard a few times, it wouldnt be long before that 350 absolutly destroyed the dana35, maby even the 30 as well.
However, after switching axles, you would have an awesome setup. Its hard to find a jeep you like again... |

Put it in storage (climate controlled) and then when your done running around you will still have it! That jeep with a axle upgrade will pull the frame out from under a TJ
What you have is a BAD *** jeep to me a TJ is'nt as much jeep ![]() |

Seriously though.... I'm thinking that if you don't want to drive it to CA, then putting it into storage may not be a bad idea... with all the upgrades you've done...and you sell it, you won't get your money out of it. good luck

Well a 92 Wrangler's kbb is roughly $6000. Something to start with. That's not including any of the mods. I don't think you can expect all the money put into it though.
