I have just over 250,000 miles on same block with one valve surfacing in its lifetime. Still runs great, and just passed cali. smog too. (2.5) and original transmission also.

Miles

My 95 has a 2.5 with 185,000. Runs great- leaks nothing! Hope it holds for a few more years. If it goes bad- it will get re-built.

229,559 miles on my '92. Only things replaced were the AX15 which has 80,000 miles on it since it was rebuilt, and an XJ t-case that has about 100,000 miles on it. The motor is totally original, except for the water pump and valve cover gasket, which it needs again!! Aside from a VERY leaky rear main seal, it doesn't burn any oil, no smoke from the exhaust at all!!

I recently requested the build sheet through the Jeep website customer care page. I also asked about a 200,000 mile club. I got the return email with the specs and this line:

Quote:
We are pleased to learn of the odometer reading of almost 200,000 miles.
We trust you will enjoy many more miles in your 1995 Jeep Wrangler.

Thanks again for your email.
Well, a month later a padded envelope from Chrysler Group's headquarters shows up. Assume that it's just brochures for a new Jeep, etc. Open it up to find a nice letter from Chrysler Group congratulating me on my 200,000 miles. They even included a '200,000 mile club' license plate frame.

So rad. Check it out:

226000 here on a 4.0. Less power now, but runs great!

That's freakin' awesome. I wonder if they have a 300,000 club?

I hit 302,000 this past weekend.

Pedro is showing 249k right now on the drivetrain.

The PO changed the 2.5l out at 100k due to a blown engine. Not exactly what you asked for, but I love the looks people get when they see the mileage on the odometer.

Remember, old jeps never die,
They just get rebuilt one piece at a time
