bought my 1st wrangler which is the best wrangler(YJ) 6months ago from my cousin in denver colorado it was a 93 yj sport with the 4.0 with a tf-999 3sp auto. it had 118,000 roughly. drove it all the way back to mississippi with no problems but stopping and refueling. now it has 123,860 miles on the odo. mostly hwy miles as im a college student now that uses it for my dd(for now)he he . never been in much offroad cause of it being my dd. the only thing i had replaced is oil changes and 2 waterpumps. still running strong. but since it came from up north the tub has minor rust but nothing major and the frame amazingly is in good shape with no cracks or big rust. as soon as its spring though its getting the rust worked out and frame reundercoated though. just have to make it through the winter though.

Right now I got about 79K on my Islander... Been off road only a little. I did drive it cross country back in 1992. Went as far west as Montana and then south Nevada. Grand canyon, etc. Saw lots of great places in America. Did not get to the gold coast, maybe do that again some day. Was lots of fun.

I bought my first jeep (1987 YJ) three years ago with 247,000 miles on it, lifted it the next week and the odometer stopped. That was three years ago plus many mods-although i still have stock axles, motor, and trans (BA10!)the only gripe i have is the axles which i will hopefully be fixing soon enough! Also getting a "newer" motor and trans to make her more reliable!! Happy Jeepin!
