I believe it comes with the requirred parts other than a two post battery & winch plate. I believe for optimum performance (battery life) you are going to need a two post battery if you don't already have one. You will also need a winch plate to mount it to if you didn't order one or already have one. You can make your own which many have done, or purchase one commercially made.

You will need a winch plate with the standard pattern mounting holes (4.5"x10") for 4 3/8" bolts.
The winch also includes a fairlead, so make sure your winch plate can mount one of those as well, not sure the distance apart for the fairlead.
It comes with everything else. I have one.

I got one from SB, but wished I knew about the one from Harbor Freight. It is universal and cost about 1/2 what I paid.

Anyone had issues mounting it. I am mounting, with a Smitty plate. I had to drill through my warn bumper for the two post closest to the grill. Problem is, right underneith the warn bumper is the tube/frame bumper. So it's going to be a challenge for those bolts. It looks like they want the bolts mounted upside down, nuts on the top. Anyone else have this issue?

thanks

I installed an the same winch on an Smitty plate. Its not a bad install. On mine, I did not have to drill any new holes. I did use lock tight on all the bolts. I live in an apartment and was worried some one might try to jack it. I pulled out my factory jack and use the screw holes to ground the winch. Its a good buy, I have used my several times. The only down side to it, is the cable is not that long.

Take off the bumper, mount it on, then put it back on?

I have used mine for the last year. When i did the frame swap i got new grade 8 bolts and grade 8 washers and shimmed the front and back so that the winch plate was leve and not resting on anything but the washers.
