How good are Aussie lockers for Dana 30?

I got my gears for the front axle and i'd like to put a locker in there while im setting up the front end, Is Aussie a good locker for Trails, mud and some light duty crawling?
Or how about Lock Right?

The Aussie is good for anything off road really. A LockRight is the same design as the Aussie, just a bit more expensive and American made.

One firefighter to another...get the aussie! If you have the axle disconnect its invisible on the street, no clicking, no noise, period. I had to have my front driveshaft balanced from some vibes but the traction is awesome. For the money its a great investment!

If youre running 35"tires as your profile says then I'd reccomend at least TJ shafts if not Chromolly axles unless youre really really easy on the go pedal. IMO it's no fun wondering if your going to break and hold up trail traffic. I have a similar set up to yours and Yukon front axles I still carry TJ shafts as spares.

Edit: BTW the Aussie works great and is a very easy setup!

Good eye there falcon...
Axle upgrade is coming also, but funds are slow... going with aussie and stock axles then ill repull them and put in yukons with balanced DS. $$$$ Thanks

You could always disconnect the axle side of the drive shafts. Only 8 little bolts for a complete disconnect from the t-case. Then just strap the shafts up between the framerails.

Short answer is, it depends. The locker should ratchet enough to allow it to turn around corners or it may not. Some people have good luck others don't. In my case I have one of the transfer cases that does not have a "true" neutral. When it is in N the drive is disconnected but the front and rear are still connected to each other so towing is a problem, unless I disconnect the drive shaft on the front.

I still love my aussie and would recommend it highly
