how do you get your tires to stick out?
Sorry for the stupid question guys, but ima newbie to the jeep world. I see these tires on some jeeps and it looks like they stick out a few inches further than mine do. I have 31 right now and they stick out about two inches. I like that look and was wondering how people did that.

Wheels with more offset, tires that are wider, and wheels that are wider.
My axles are a little wider than stock as well. |

Wheel spacers work just fine with the proper torque specs and use the loctite.

On IFS vehicles they are known to really tear stuff up. On Solid axles not so much. I am running 1.5" on my YJ... no problem... on my Dodge Dakota DD, I went through a pair of ball joints and decided to take them off.

IMO wheel spacers would cause problems, it just seems to me like it's adding a weak point in your tire/axle setup.

Tires that stick out are great! Great for throwing gravel up in the air which then falls on the hood or your passengers when you have the top off. Not to mention all the mud and dirt they throw right in your face when you are wheelin with the doors off. Ask me how I know...

Narrow can be a big advantage... but 2-3 inches of back spacing with 12.5 or 13.5 tires give a jeep a wide stance. wide tires are hard on the weak Dana35.

You could always cut 4 inches out all the way down the center of the tub and weld it back together. Instant 2" wheel exposure.
