Max,

I'm going to go to Wal-Mart and see if I can find some of those lights. I busted one of mine against a tree so hopefully it won't happen again with the flush mounted.

Walmart has the exact same lights, well they used to anyway.

Harbor Freight also sells them.

I have those on my Jeep. They only stick out about 3/4". I was thinking if I break one I will replace it and then add a steel 1"x3/16" strip wrap it around the light for protection like a military vehicle.

If you have a big truck stop in your area like a T/A or Love's or the such they'll have them too. The first ones I got I picked up at Harbor Freight on sale for $8 ea and they were (I think) 12 LED's then got some 43 LED one's later from a truck stop for $15 each, quite the difference.

There is a QT truck stop I might hit up this weekend.

I just checked the Walmart and they have two of those lights. All the rest are sold out so this must be a popular write up.

I am going to wait to see the truck stop ones before getting any but those ones from Walmart are super bright. They come with a little test me button in the package and when you push it, it's like you turn on a red spot light in the aisle

I don't feel like working on anything, at this time.

Blinker

Write up worked awesome, I installed my LED's a couple days ago. All the measurements were dead on but i can't get my blinkers to work, they come on but they won't blink. Did I miss something?

You need an EL-12 flasher relay. It's briefly mentioned in the first paragraph.

Glad the measurements worked out well for you!

Still haven't installed mine yet it's not easy to find the relay, but the research Ive seen the relay is located under the steering column on the inside of the firewall. Let me know if you find one

Look up under the dash, above the parking brake mechanism on the firewall. You'll see the fuse panel & it has two round relays on the top of the panel. The one on the left is the hazard light relay, and the one on the right is the turn signal relay. The one in this picture is an electronic relay on the right.

I'm doing this tomorrow. I bought the lights on amazon for $10 each and the flasher relay for $8.
