How to check transmission fluid?

Alright, AX-15, how do I check/fill the tranny fluid?

I know there's a bolt to undo somewhere, but I'm not sure on the location of the bolt itself.

And what's the best way to fill it up? Grab the bottle you need and a little hand pump?

Mean Max has some pics but I'll try to describe it. There is a fill plug midway up the tranny on the drivers side. I think its a 13/16". I used some vise grips though because mine was rounded. Take the plug out and stick your finger in and see if the fluid is at the bottom of the plug hole or 1/4" below. When I fill my tranny up, I put fluid in until it comes out of the hole.
