How big of a pain will this be?

I'm buying a 4.0HO Auto tranny and transfer case out of a 91 XJ. How big of a pain is it going to be to convert my standard trans 93 YJ to the auto out of the 91 XJ? Also the engine comes with it so will this be a good spare for my rig? Any big differences in those two years engine wise?

As long as you have the computer, tranny cooler, and harness it should be bolt up. Good luck.

Does the automatic have a standalone computer or is it a different ECU that is used on automatics?
