horn relay help

I have a 91 wrangler and I've tried the horn when I first for it and nothing. So I went to advanced picked up the low tone horn haven't put it in but trailered the jeep from mass to maryland have used it a couple times since that and it has worked. I wanna kno were the horn relay is so I can test to see if its that cause I dont hear it click at all. Any other suggestions?

Nope. My fuse box diagram is completely different. I'd add a pic but it won't let me the files too big. Under my fuse box they don't list a horn relay

It is up under the steering column near the parking break area. It is about 2"x4" and black. If your horn works, you can hear the relay engage. Is your horn working? If not, most likely it is the spring not making contact when you press the horn button.

It has worked a couple times. And if the horn didn't work I use to hear the relay click. I put a new steering column in. And I thought they had there own switch for the horn. But sometimes the relay would click currently I don't hear either. That's why I'm thinking it might be the relay. And what is the white relay under the dash then?

Pull the horn relay and jumper pin 30 to 87 in the relay socket with a small wire. If the horn works the control from the column is the problem.

The white relay has a 3 pin connector and relay. I took the cover off and manually clicked it. Nothing. Like I said there is a black relay that idk what its for.

White relay should be the horn. 3 pin or 4 pin shouldnt matter. It is powered directly from the ignition switch. You need to use a meter or a test light to check power on the relay pins.

I will have to do that tonight if its not raining. Now its a 3 pin connector two on the same row one above. So my question is what should I have for voltages. I assume on the two that are in the same line I should get power.

Power in should be pin 30 and out should be 87. Jumper a power wire across.

I kno that but I meant which one of the 3 are the pins. I guess I'll try and figure it out

When you reinstalled the steering wheel, there are a number of components for the horn-for a visual check out ebay-yj jeep horn parts;

I don't believe its the steering column. It came from another jeep and that horn worked so its either my wired, relay, or the horn. I heard my horn a couple times so I'm thinking maybe the relay. But once again that was on my old column

Don't be too quick to rule out a dead horn. Use a jumper wire to put power directly to the horn. If it blows obviously it's good. If not it's bad, real simple test. I have a Chevy horn under my hood now because my original one died. Other than that swap the relay out. If it still doesn't work THEN I would start to check wiring.
