Homemade Shackles

So this is probably a stupid question, and just need a quick answer, because i know you guys probably know off the top of your heads..

I have homemade shackles on my 89 and i need to know how to measure them to determine the lift that these shackles applied... Any answers are appreciated.

stock eye to eye dimension is 4"

measure yours, subtract 4 then divide by 2 and that's the amount of your lift.

ex:
if your shackles are 6" eye to eye....
6-4=2
2/2=1
1" lift
