Holes in tub floor (not drain holes)

I have a couple of holes in my floor where the drivers side seat is mounted, the back left mount broke through the floor.

I'm gonna ask around for someone that can weld it up. Now here is the question, should I just bend the metal back up and weld it, or should I get a sheet of steel welded over the hole?

Without seeing pictures of the vehicle and the holes described it would be hard to give you advice.

The welder that you hire to do the welding might have a good idea on what to do to fix the problems with your Jeep.
