Dang dude, I'm sorry to hear. But on the bright side the cloaks are ok! Time to bang the dents out and get some body armor.

That's some serious bs right there. Low life scum bags. I'm sorry to hear bro, hope you get what you deserve from insurance and have $$ to fix her up! I can see rock sliders and body armor for sure! Bothers me when I see things like this happen to good people. Keep your head up and look forward to her looking better than ever!!

That's a good looking jeep you got there bro. The 35s and metalcloaks set the whole thing off.

Thanks! I put a lot of time, effort, money, busted knuckles, and beers into that Jeep.

A little bit, yeah. Still stings but at least I've got my mitts on a fresh YJ now. Helps ease the hurt a little.

I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. I've refrained from posting pics of the new YJ here until I figure out if I want to leave this as a dedication to my last project, or just continue on.

I'm leaning towards Nick's suggestion of closing one chapter and opening another. Just waiting on some long over due funds, and then it's game on again. I'm hoping, that if my financial stuff pans out the way I'm thinking it will, that sometime around Christmas I should have the new YJ pretty close to where I want it.

Cheers

I'm confused. It's doesn't *seem* like it's not salvagable. Did insurance total it and collect it? Are you not planning on buying it back?

Is there frame/suspension damage or is it mostly just tub?
