I have a harbor freight farm jack. it works ok but i would much rather have a HI lift. if you put the 2 side by side you can tell the difference. put your $30.00 towards a Hi lift if you want quality. But like said above you will hardly use it unless your in a lot of mud. and if your like me every time you need it you won't have it with you!

well...i was at tractor supply and they had both the hi-lift and a "farm" jack. the farm jack was rated at more pounds and was about half the price at 29.99....these jacks are made to lift houses and such....im pretty sure they will lift a little jeep off the ground just fine.

ive used the hell out of the HF farm jack, it has been used even more by others i ride with and/or people i pass on the trail that have broken. The handle works just as well for a tie rod as the hi-lift version.
Eriks right about the thing rusting fast though.

i use the harbor freight farm jack weekly for lifting signs out of the ground and love it. we have a sign company and one of my builers uses 4x8 signs on 4x4 posts 30" in the ground. i just throw the jack under them and jack them straight outta the ground. if i had to trust a jack to pull out my jeep or not let my jeep fall on me i would think the 30 bucks is nothing to pay for the peace of mind.(even if it is just paying for the name).
