hesitation off idle 89 2.5L

I'm having a really strange problem, when I'm at a stop and give it gas it will sputter like its out of gas then after a few seconds of adjusting gas/clutch it will drive just fine. It doesnt sputter if I rev the engine with the clutch in or in Neutral. Only when I try to move from a stop. Upper RPMS are just fine. Help.......

I wish the search engine was up

Oh I forgot to mention, that the magic number seems to be up to 2k rpms. After that she will run up to redline without a hiccup.

picked up sea foam havent had a chance to use it yet, I noticed something though. Now that the weather is getting warmer, the problem went away. It seems it only does it when the weather is cold, regardless if the engine is up to temp or not. ????
