Herculiner vs Duplicolor

I am looking to do my tub pretty soon and am just curious as to what home done liner has worked the best for people. I've heard good things about Herculiner and relatively little about Duplicolor. The Herculiner is about $90 locally and the Duplicolor is $45. I am assuming there has to be a reason for the extreme price difference.

Thanks in advance for the input

I would say herculiner all the way. I reseached for af ew weeks and found nothing but good rmarks about it. I rolled it on my 93 YJ about a month ago and it is great.

I just removed everything from the jeep and preped the metal roughed it up with 120 sandpaper and then washed it out. Then wiped it down with acetone. Wiped it down again with dry rag and then taped off the jeep. I did not care for perfection some I did little taping. I put on 2 coats everywhere and 3 where the most traffic would be in the jeep. I let it sit over night then put everything back in the jeep.

It turned out great, Yea some corners dont look perfect but I dont care and I saved 500 bucks.

Here are some pics.

Do the herc. I did Duplicolor in mine and my buddy did Herc. His is 10x better. It has great texture to it, where as the duplicolor doesn't have much at all. It has also started to flake off in a few spots. Yes, it is more money, but in the long run it is money well spent. I am going to end up redoing mine in Herc.

I was out of funds and originally used duplicolor. Then last summer, I applied the Herc over the duplicolor.

Herc is much, much better.
