UltimateCC---Yes, you got a ****ty can, no doubt. I wouldn't give up on Herculiner yet. You must have got old old stock from somewhere. Hopefully you can take it back to them. I had to special order mine ($$$) since I wanted gray, it was plenty soupy, but required stirring to resuspend the particles from the bottom.
It's worth it.

I am down in St Kitts for school with the jeep so i won't be able to return it, i just ordered another can but i gotta wait a week or two for it to arrive here...so jeep will be chilling for a while...
Maybe it would be worth your while to locate a paint or hardware store that has a paint can 'shaker' and ask them to put your can of Herculiner on the shaker. The shakers normally have a timer on them so see if you can have them set it for at least 5 minutes. I've taken partial/old paint cans back in to my local guy and he's shaken them for me. If your local guy isn't real willing, offer to pay him a buck or so to shake up your can...
I actually thought of that today, I ordered another can, should have it in a week or so and will bring it to the local store and have them shake it up, also ordered 4 cans of plasti kote canned bed liner as a back up because I really need to get the jeep up and running soon...
appreciate the advice, this is why I love forums...you can learn almost everything you need on here...
I can't wait to do this, I have the bug so bad.

got my new can, much better this time around, i must of had a bad can, i should have most of the jeep together tomorrow...
Call Herculiner and tell them about the bad can. They will send you another. I had a can burst on me and I called them and they sent a new one free of charge. I had already bought a replacement but just returned the one they sent to Kragen.
1 gallon of *any* liner will do the trick. But more never hurt anyone.
I used less than a gallon of urathane to line my tub and am happy with the results.
All the writeups I've seen on here, they have only used one gallon as well.
But definately lay an extra coat or two on the traffic areas (front-drivers floor board and bed of tub).
