Help stalling problem

Hi I have a 1990 2.5 motor Jeep Wrangler and I put a new gas tank, fuel pump relay and fuel filter in. But the jeep keeps stalling at first I thought it was just when I go over bumps but I am not convinced. Yesterday I took it out went 18 miles no stalling, shut off jeep for about 1/2 hour, started up went 2 miles stalled and did it 4 more times. When it stalls it will usually starts right back up, sometimes I have to wait a sec. I put dry gas in it and filled the tank. And is it normal to hear the fuel pump running. This is my first jeep. Any suggestions on what I should try next would be greatly appreciated. Mark

Thats a very odd problem. I would start with the easiest thing which would be going over the fuel lines since you just replaced the tank, you may have pinched a line or something

If you have a stall condition like that most of the time it is the crank position sensor. The fuel pump is the other likely canidate. Crank sensor first and see if it cures it.
