====Help Save Johnson Valley OHV, All (!!) members please read and sign!!!===

"Guys and girls, even if you don't wheel Johnson Valley in California, PLEASE sign the petition because this affects EVERYONE who enjoys wheeling in unique pristine environments. And despite what the one of the petition pages asks for, you do NOT have to make a donation to have your signature count and appear in the list of signatures.

http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/S...-SpecificPlan/

What is happening and why do we need to sign the petition? Our beloved Marines, good guys that they are, don't know of its uniqueness and our love for Johnson Valley and they want to Annex (take) it for more training area. The problem is is that Johnson Valley is VERY unique and we cannot simply move its unique trail system elsewhere or find similar terrain... it doesn't exist. The Marines are clueless about how unique JV is and how it is used by wheelers and their families from across the US. It even attracts wheelers from places as far away as Australia and Europe.

I don't care if you don't wheel Johnson Valley, this affects EVERYONE. PLEASE sign the newly revised petition right now!!! http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/S...-SpecificPlan/

This is a personal plea for ALL Jeep Forum members to please sign it. After you sign it, please post up to this thread and let us know you signed. Thanks guys!!! "

Although I may never make it to California, I will be a wheeler one day.
I would not want a place like that gone for good.

"You have attempted to access a site which has been blocked in accordance with Marine Corps and DoN policy governing the appropriate use of government information systems."

Well that just figures doesn't it?! I'll have to sign it when I get home. BTW, not all of us Marines are clueless about JV, used to go up there quite a bit when I was stationed out there. Most guys hate 29 Palms duty but if you're a wheeler it's just about paradise...
